Ideas for Winter Decorations

For winter decorations, there are a few directions you can pursue.
Snowflake Decorations
A universal theme is using snowflakes. You can find snowflakes in confetti, cutouts (in all sizes and colors), balloons (included shaped mylars and printed latex), dangling cutouts, garlands, and tableware (plates, napkins, centerpieces, etc.). Cover walls with backdrops, find snowflake serving dishes, and light candles in snowflake holders. The variety is remarkable.
Snowman Standup
Another fun theme is snowmen. Like snowflakes, there are cutouts, confetti, tableware, favors, and balloons. A lifesize cardboard cutout of a snowman is great fun. These standups include an easel so the cutout can be placed wherever you want. Snowman patterns for tableware are adorable and add a cheerful touch to any party. Backdrops (also called scene setters) come in delightful designs.

If snow is not your cup of tea, think about going warm and cozy. Add-ons and cardboard cutouts of fireplaces instantly warm a room (figuratively). Red plaid blankets, pillows and teddy bears can add to "cozy" right away. Put out candles and light them (as long as you can keep an eye on them). A little in the "snow" arena, but add-ons of windows looking out on a wintry landscape are easy to put up (a little tape), and it is indeed wintertime.
Enjoy browsing a lot of these winter decorations - and have a warm cup of hot chocolate!
