How Can You Use a Pinata?

Brown Bear Pinata

Pinatas are inexpensive and come in all kinds of shapes. Most people think it is simply a game: fill the pinata with candy and favors, blindfold the party guests, let them swing away to hit the pinata and break it open. And this is great fun for kids (and "forever" kids, too). But pinatas also make great decorations. Hang it from the ceiling as dangling decor. On a large table, they make delightful centerpieces. Plus, they can be fun gifts, especially for the avid fan.

Pirate Ship Pinata

The sizes and shapes of pinatas come in an incredible array of themes to fit any season, any celebration. For example, for any birthday there are pinatas shaped as birthday cakes, presents, and numbers. For holidays, they range from Santa and candy canes to Thanksgiving turkeys. To fit the season, pinatas are made shaped as the sun and surfboards to snowmen to bright flowers. Looking for a favorite animal? Check out the horse pinata, pig, cat, puppy, butterfly, birds, bees, whales, sharks, frogs, and even dinosaurs and dragons!  Theme related pinatas can seem endless: trains, cartoon characters (Hello Kitty to Batman), popular TV shows and movies, construction, princess, sports (think football, baseball, soccer, basketball), and many, many more.
See these and many more at Pinatas - and have a great party!

What Is a Standup?

Star Wars Standups

Marilyn Monroe

No, not as in comedy - think decorations and gifts. Generally, a standup is a life-size photograph of a celebrity, famous person or character, backed with heavy duty cardboard. An easel is provided so that this large cutout can stand up on its own (hence the term "standup"). They are often called "cardboard cutouts", too, though this does not imply the life size nature of this unique decoration.
Standups make great gifts for fans of almost any genre. Hollywood legends like Elvis and Marilyn Monroe are very popular, both in a variety of poses from movies and television clips. Politicians are fun as well, from George Washington to Barack Obama and many presidents, vice presidents and senators in between. Pop stars like Justin Bieber, WWE wrestlers, and characters from all kinds of movies from Disney to Tim Burton (e.g. Snow White to Jack Skellington). Enjoy life size animals from polar bears to dinosaurs (well, the dinos are tall, but mostly not "lifesize").Plus, there are cutouts that create photo ops as standins or standees: stand behind the standup and place your face in the hole provided and become a bride or groom, surfers, hockey player, referee and more.
Be sure to browse these and many more standups for your next celebration!
