Party World’s 2014 Graduate of the Year!

As many of you know, we ran a campaign where our customers could “Nominate the 2014 Graduate” for a $500.00 cash award.   We asked one simple question:  Why?  The response was overwhelming.  The number of deserving students was inspiring.   Many graduated despite personal and trying circumstances. Others graduated while offering their help through hours of community service.  But in the end we could only pick one.

We are pleased to announce Stefanie Ahearn as  “Party World’s 2014 Graduate of the Year”. 

Stefanie, coming from very unfortunate circumstances, graduated from Spanaway Lake High School where she enrolled in their Running Start program. Stefanie managed to graduate with both a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree from Pierce College, all while maintaining Honor Roll status for both schools.  She will continue her studies at Western Washington University, as she plans to receive her Bachelor’s degree in two years. From there she will join the Peace Corps for a year, and then back to school for her PHD in Psychiatry.
